We are pleased to announce that the submission portal for the international HEPA Europe Conference 2026, to be held in Slovenia, is open from 15 December 2025. We invite researchers, professionals, policymakers, and other stakeholders working in the fields of physical activity promotion, public health, and related areas to contribute.
About the HEPA Europe Conference
The HEPA Europe Conference is the leading annual WHO European professional meeting dedicated to the promotion of health-enhancing physical activity (HEPA). The conference brings together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and organisations from across the European region and the world to share the latest research, innovative approaches, and examples of good practice.
This year’s theme, “Green Pathways to Health: Integrating Green Spaces and 24-Hour Movement Behaviours for Combating NCDs” addresses an important question: how can well-designed green spaces and the promotion of physical activity, quality sleep, and an active lifestyle contribute to the prevention of chronic non-communicable diseases and the improvement of physical and mental health?
Contribution Deadlines
* 28 February 2026 – symposium submission
* 15 March 2026 – individual abstract submission
